刘要稳，男，1971年1月出生，河北保定人，现任同济大学物理系教授、博士生导师。
教育及工作经历：
1994年毕业于河北师范学院。
1997年和2000年在兰州大学物理系分别获硕士、博士学位。
2000-2004年在葡萄牙INESC-MN研究所作博士后。
2004年9月至今，在同济大学物理系从事科研和教学工作。
2006-2007年在德国Jülich研究中心作“洪堡学者”。
学术兼职：
1. Member of IEEE Magnetic Society。
2. 应邀为一些国际杂志审稿人，包括Applied Physics Letters，Journal of Applied Physics, IEEE Transaction Magnetics, Journal of Physics: Condensed Matters，Chinese Physics Letters等杂志。
