研究方向：

一直从事糖物质科学（glycoscience）：围绕碳水化合物（carbohydrates），进行介于化学、生物学、药学和材料学的跨学科交叉研究。

1. 化学糖生物学（chemical glycobiology）：合成糖化学、糖类药物的研究与开发。

2. 制糖工程（sugar engineering）：运用全自动糖类合成仪进行寡、多糖的制备研究。

3. 糖生物技术（glycobiotechnology）：研究糖芯片的制备与应用。

4. 糖纳米技术（glyconanotechnology）：运用纳米技术主要研究糖与糖之间的相互作用。
