2003年获霍英东青年教师基金,2005年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,2009年获得国家杰出青年基金。2007年被聘为“十一五”863计划海洋技术领域“天然气水合物勘探开发关键技术”重大项目总体专家。2000年被国际知名期刊“Chemical Engineering Science”聘为客座编辑;目前是《Current Physical Chemistry》的客座编辑,《Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering》、《高校化学工程学报》和《The Open Thermodynamics Journal》的编委和天然气水合物专业委员会副主任。主要从事高压流体相态和气体水合物方面的科学研究和技术开发。近年来主持国家自然科学基金重大项目课题1项、面上项目4项,“863”计划课题4项,省部级课题8项;发表论文百余篇,其中有70余篇被SCI收录。申请国内外发明专利30余项,其中已取得中国发明专利授权22项,国际发明专利2项;出版气体水合物专著1部、教材1部。2004年获中国石油化工协会科技进步一等奖,2010年获教育部自然科学奖一等奖,被国际大奖ENI Award提名为该奖2011、2012年度候奖人。指导的博士研究生1人获全国百篇优秀博士论文奖。
